Cape
May, New Jersey
Avian Photographic Workshop

View Mid-Atlantic Gallery |
An accessible mid-Atlantic destination,
Cape May is a fantastic location for birds. We
are offering an extensive two-day workshop customized
to your photographic goals. Lenses of 300mm or
higher are required as we work with some fairly
cooperative subjects in easy to shoot situations.
|
This workhop is about the fundamentals
of the elements of composition, exposure, lighting,
flash use, depth of field, perspective and how to see
and setup shots. Subjects are covered in slide show
presentations and during in depth image critiques. Focus
on these elements is also stressed while in the field
while we shoot some common yet cooperative subjects
for good practice. We will be able to work on some flight
photography, as well as shooting a variety of birds
from the ground and "belly crawling" on the
beach.
Dates: 9/28
- 9/29, 2006 (two days)
Includes two solid days of
extensive photographic instruction, slide presentations
and critiques as well as getting you in the right locations
at the right times to ensure we are making the best
use of conditions, weather, and light.
There will be a slide show
and orientation at 8:00 PM the evening prior to the
workshop start date (Sept 27)..
